CHACABUCO, CHILE

Yesterday in Puerto Montt we had entered the northern part of Patagonia in Chile. Today, in Chacabuco, where the Andes meet the Pacific, we are miles from civilization.

We sailed through the Aisen Fjord to its head where the village of 1200 people is situated. The following pictures are from a driving tour to see more of the beautiful scenery in the Simpson valley.
