Ah, Buenos Aires, city of "favorable winds" - and today also with clear blue skies! This is Evita's City, and here is the famous Casa Rosada, the presidential house.

Eva Peron captivated Argentinians. Her image is here, above the wide Avenida 9 de Julio, some say the widest avenue in the world.

Argentina and Uruguay both claim to be the birthplace of the Tango.

The Boca Jr. Football (Soccer) stadium - the blue and yellow colors were chosen because a Swedish ship was the first to arrive when the port was new (or something like that).

La Boca became our main destination on this, the first of three days in Buenos Aires. The following photos were taken in that Bohemian section of the city.
