This is the start of the 3rd segment of the World Cruise. Today we took a taxi out of the city to the Tigre Delta.
This is a wonderful vacation area and our driver told us that it gets really crowded on weekends. It is still summer here.
The tributaries and canals have big boats.
.and little boats.
There is a long rowing tradition.
Reminds us of the Charles River in Boston in some places.
There is also a Fruit Port with a large handicraft market.
That evening a local dance company came onboard to perform folk dances.
The dancers are all from one family - here is one of the littlest gauchos.
